I'm Juan David Avellaneda — an Innovation Specialist based in Bogotá, Colombia. I build web products, AI-powered tools and automated workflows for businesses that want to move faster without burning out their teams.

This blog is where I think out loud. I write about the tools I'm actually using, the projects I'm building, and the ideas I can't stop thinking about — mostly around AI, web development, automation and the future of how we work.

I don't write to fill a content calendar. I write when something is worth saying.

What I work on

Most of my work lives at the intersection of product strategy and technical execution. I've built everything from custom dashboards in Looker Studio and Power BI, to AI-integrated web apps, to automated content pipelines using tools like Make, Claude and the OpenAI API.

If it involves turning a messy business problem into a clean digital product, that's my zone.
